This April, the Autism Society Tidewater Virginia is proud to continue its fifth annual “Celebrate Differences” campaign in honor of Autism Acceptance Month. This April, the Autism Society Tidewater Virginia #CelebratesDifferences for Autism Acceptance Month. Everyday, we work to create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community to live fully. Be the connection this April by spreading awareness for early diagnosis, promoting inclusion in the greater community, and practicing acceptance in everyday life.

$25 provides 2 hours of local resource coordination

$100 provides a monthly social for our Awesome Adults with Autism

$500 funds a respite night program benefitting both children and parents

In 2022, the CDC worked with the American Academy of Pediatrics to develop a more comprehensive list of milestones that infants and toddlers should be hitting from 2 months through age 5. 75% of children in this age group meet these milestones; you know your child best, speak to your pediatrician early if these are not being met.
